Questions
Before you decide
Do I need to know SQL?
No. The entire backend is delivered ready to use. Your n8n workflows interact via HTTP Request nodes and the PostgREST API — no SQL required. The handoff doc covers everything you need to maintain it.
Can I query it from n8n?
That's the whole point. Every table is wired to n8n with proper auth headers, upsert logic, and error handling. You can read, write, filter, and paginate from any workflow using standard HTTP Request nodes.
Is it secure?
Every table gets row-level security policies. Even if your anon key is exposed in a client-side app, users can only see data they're authorized to see. We test every policy before delivery — and if anything fails the RLS audit, we fix it free.
Can I add tables later?
Absolutely. The schema is designed to be extensible. We include migration scripts (Standard + Advanced tiers) so you or a future developer can add tables, modify columns, and deploy changes without starting over.
What about hosting costs?
Supabase has a generous free tier (500MB database, 50K auth users). Most clients run on the Pro plan at $25/month. You pay Supabase directly — we don't take a cut of hosting, and there are no ongoing fees from us unless you choose post-launch support.
